Critical Commentary

This graphic is used to depict average U.S. household electricity consumption. The information is provided by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. It would interesting to see whether these averages shift from one decade to the next in relation to cultural or environmental changes -- such as increased mobility, heat waves, and electric car uptake. I would be nice if the 'other' category were broken down further; it also seems like things that I would categorize as heating-related are indexing in other.
