Critical Commentary

It starts with addressing the state of the world and acknowledging the needed change to avoid a problematic future. It then goes into the problem of energy distribution and storage. With the popular sources of renewable sources, wind and solar, there is no way to regulate the intake due to the forces of nature. This addresses storage and often overlooked point in renewable sources in that it is needed for consistent use to keep distribution. The proposed solution to this is through the advancements of batteries with nanomaterials. With innovative designs batteries can be made completely different to account for the influx of energy as well as account for long storage times and demand flow. This is important to the project because the batteries and storage are the backbone of sustainable energy systems. All the potential energy would count for nothing without the ability to store and distribute on command. This cannot be done without next generation batteries composed differently.
