Critical Commentary
This chart represents responses to Question #31b from the Spring 2020 survey, “What bills have you received during COVID-19?” Eighty respondents answered this question. Sixty-nine (86.25) respondents indicated they have received an electric bill. Fifty (62.5%) respondents indicated they have received a water bill and fifty-two respondents (65%) indicated they have received a gas bill. Sixty-nine respondents (84.2%) indicated they have received an internet bill. Two respondents (2.5%) indicated they have received an oil bill. Two respondents (2.5%) have not received a single bill. Six did not know. (7.5%) Two respondents (1.2%) mentioned a phone bill (as something separate from their internet bill).
The data was produced by the Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 Survey - Overview, which was administered to 86 people over a six week period in May-June 2020.
