Critical Commentary

This image was tweeted out by the NWS Weather Prediction Center to show the areas at highest risk for heatwave side effects. In the tweet, here linked, the center communicates that 25 million people live in highlighted areas. What does this mean? It means that 25 million people are at risk of heat-related illnesses or are at least going to suffer the heat when it strikes.
