Critical Commentary

This article shows a timeline of events leading up from the beginning of the lockdown constituing the changes to the energy patterns along the way. The interactive charts gives you a very detailed insight into the change in energy system demand across days and even the different hours during the day and night.

It is really interesting to see how the "new normal" has also evolved the energy demands as well as the changes in the generation mix. Looking ahead, it will also be engrossing to see how the solar generation alongside the beginning of summer might help reduce some pressure on the transmission system demand.
