Do you have any questions or concerns about energy that you did not have before taking this survey? (Q51, Cumulative)

The chart reflects responses to Question #51 from the Winter 2020 survey, which asked: “Do you have any questions or concerns about energy that you did not have before taking this survey?” On the Spring 2020 survey, this question was coupled with Q50, and responses from the Spring 2020 survey are therefore not reflected in this chart. This was an open-ended question, and there were 82 responses. Seventy-one individuals said “No”, and 11 individuals said “Yes”, and articulated questions or concerns regarding energy use, their utility company, energy assistance, what the research project is giving to survey participants, heating systems, and energy rights. 

The data was produced by the Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 Survey, which has been administered to 169 people over two time periods. The Spring 2020 survey was administered to 86 people between May and June, and the Winter 2020 survey was administered to 83 people between December 2020 and March 2021.
