Critical Commentary
The chart reflects responses to Question #55 from the Spring 2020 and Winter 2020 surveys, which asked: “What is your annual income?” 133 respondents answered this question.
Seventeen respondents had no income;
Nineteen respondents made less than $20,000 a year;
Thirty-four respondents made between $20,000-39,999 a year;
Thirty-three respondents made between $40,000-64,999 a year;
Eight respondents made between $65,000-89,999 a year;
Ten respondents made over $90,000 a year
Seven respondent reported variable or intermittent income and thus were unsure of their annual income;
One respondent answered that they are on social security
One respondent was unsure
Two respondents stated they are on disability
One respondent said it was very low and they are on foodstamps.
The data was produced by the Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 Survey, which has been administered to 169 people over two time periods. The Spring 2020 survey was administered to 86 people between May and June, and the Winter 2020 survey was administered to 83 people between December 2020 and March 2021.
