Critical Commentary

This chart reflects responses to Question #36a from the Winter 2020 survey, which asks respondents who have received a utility shut-off notice if it was in the last twelve months? There were a total of twenty-nine respondents.

  • Eleven respondents (37.9%) indicated their shut-off notice was in the last twelve months.

  • Seventeen respondents (58.6%) indicated they had not received a shut-off notice in the last twelve months.

  • One respondent (3.4%) discussed the utility shutoff moratorium and pointed out that people could not be shutoff at this time.

The data was produced by the Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 Survey - Overview, which was administered to 83 people over a fourteen week period between December 2020 and March 2021. Visit the Winter 2020 Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 - Survey Results page to view more data from our survey. The project is approved by Drexel’s IRB.
