Critical Commentary

This chart reflects results from Question 22 on the Spring 2020 survey, which asks “Has anyone in your household ever experienced health issues related to temperature in the home (heat exhaustion, respiratory illness, etc.)?” This question was a multiple choice question, and there were 84 responses. The vast majority of respondents (77 individuals) chose “no”, and six individuals chose “yes”. One individual’s response was classified as “other”, because they discussed a previous roommate who had health issues that were exacerbated by temperature in the home.

The data was produced by the Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 Survey - Overview, which was administered to 86 people over a six week period in May-June 2020. Visit the Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 - Survey Results page to view more data from our survey. The project is approved by Drexel’s IRB.
