Critical Commentary

In response to complaints, Comcast announced that they will be delaying their fee increase to heavy internet users until July. This increase would affect those using 1.2 terabytes a month, the exact price of the increase has yet to be determined. A spokesperson for comast stated "To that end, we are providing customers in our Northeast markets a total of over six months of notice before our data plan goes into effect so that they have ample time to understand their data usage and their service options, and plan accordingly. The earliest that the very small percentage of customers who exceed 1.2 TB of data could have any charges due under the plan is August 2021.”

I am unsure exactly who is using that much data a month, but it would be interesting to see how internet use correlates with income.
