At the moment energy prices are an average of 11% higher than they were last year, which is why Biden's administration is dispensing more money into LIHEAP. Low-income families are in especially more need of assistance than ever before, and with rate increases happening virtually across the energy sector (due to changes in supply, etc.) now more than ever is the time to call for socially-aware energy policies.
