This chart reflects responses to Question #4 from both the Spring 2020 and Winter 2020 surveys, which asked: “Have you been able to continue living at home during COVID-19 or have you needed to stay someplace else?” The structured responses for this question were:

A total of 169 respondents answered this question. The following was collected:
146 were able to continue living in their pre-COVID-19 home
10 had to relocate because of COVID-19
6 chose to relocate due to COVID-19
3 respondents were forced to move out of their dorms
2 respondents relocated (unrelated to COVID-19)
2 respondents were moving back and forth between places
The data was produced by the Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 Survey, which has been administered to 169 people over two time periods. The Spring 2020 survey was administered to 86 people between May and June, and the Winter 2020 survey was administered to 83 people between December 2020 and March 2021.
