This chart shows the results of Question #14, “What is the power source for your home heating system?” This question aims to identify whether the respondent uses gas, oil, electric or some other fuel source to heat their home. This question has also helped us assess whether respondents understand the difference between home heating systems and the fuel source for the system. The options prepared by the research group were:

Of the 84 respondents who answered this question, data collected follows:
9 respondents admitted they don't know their heat source;
50 respondents use gas;
30 use electric;
3 respondents use oil;
1 respondent use hydro power;
1 respondent mentioned using wood and torch;
The answers add up to more than 86 because several respondents fit multiple categories.
The data was produced by the Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 Survey - Overview, which was administered to 86 people over a six week period in May-June 2020.
