Critical Commentary
This chart reflects responses to Question #51 from the Winter 2020 survey, which asked, “I'm going to read a list of gender identities and you tell me which best apply(ies) to you. Feel free to select multiple answers.” The structured responses were:
Female
Male
Genderqueer
Gender-questioning
Cisgender
Transgender
Not any of the identities listed above
I prefer not to say
Eighty-three respondents answered this question. Sixty-six people identified as female, the overwhelming majority and four respondents identified as female, cisgender. Eleven respondents identified as male. One individual identified as transgender and “not an identity listed above” and one respondent preferred not to say.
The data was produced by the Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 Survey - Overview, which was administered to 83 people over a fourteen week period between December 2020 and March 2021. Visit the Winter 2020 Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 - Survey Results page to view more data from our survey. The project is approved by Drexel’s IRB.
