Critical Commentary

Comcast one of Philadelphia’s leading providers of high-speed Internet is offers a basic service for a reduced rate for eligible families called “Internet Essentials”. Out of the 98,000 qualified to enroll only 9% of Philadelphians who qualify are registered. Many more feel or claim that the enrollment process is too hard and complicated, which in part explains the lower percentage of enrollment.
