Of the 146 respondents who answered, the following was collected:
57 respondents said the people they lived with, could not work remotely
48 respondents said yes, other people in their households were able to transition to remote set up
9 respondents said no one in the house is working
7 respondents said they lived alone
4 respondents said the people they lived with were unemployed or laid off
6 respondents said there is a mix of situations in their home
11 respondents noted it was not applicable
1 respondent said the person they lived was working remotely but is now back in the office
1 respondent said the person they lived did not work prior to COVID-19 and did small jobs
2 respondents had family members who retired
1 respondent was remote before COVID-19
The data was produced by the Shifting Energy Demands in COVID-19 Survey, which has been administered to 169 people over two time periods. The Spring 2020 survey was administered to 86 people between May and June, and the Winter 2020 survey was administered to 83 people between December 2020 and March 2021.
