The image here shown represents the results of Question 21 on The Energy Vulnerability Survey administered between April 2020 and July 2020. This question analyzes respondents' vulnerability to disruptions, including power outages, heaters breaking, etc since the pandemic began. The structured responses prepared by the research group were as follows:

  1. Electricity was down
  2. Heater broke
  3. Ran out of oil
  4. Slow internet
  5. Air conditioning not working
  6. Gas suspended
  7. Water not available
  8. No
  9. N/A
  10. Other

Of the respondents, 56.6% said they were not experiencing any disruptions. This interesting because survey administrators did not read off all the responses. Since the pandemic, 37% of the respondents reported experiencing slow internet. Some of the respondents (10%) reported losing water, one of the people who lost water said they didn't know what happened; during this disruption, his mom made a phone call, then went to the office, and it came back a few hours later. To note about the survey is that the instrument was administered prior to the natural disasters and extreme weather events that occurred in the latter half of 2020.
