The Energy Rights Project, in partnership with ECA, will be hosting comprehensive energy conservation workshops at community organizations across the city this summer. These workshops will focus on water and electricity conservation techniques so that households will have the information they need to affordably keep their homes cool this summer. During the workshop you will learn about the cost of water and how to conserve it, how airflow works in your home and how to control it, and what utility assistance programs are available to help you meet your needs. Everyone who attends a workshop will receive a free conservation kit with different products that will help you conserve electricity and water. You will also receive free refreshments, and you’ll have the chance to win a $25 Visa gift card as well.
