I have been looking at the different ways in which a household might be considered “vulnerable” during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I keep coming across the real pressure to have access to the Internet. Many essentials such as groceries and other necessities can be purchased over the Internet and delivered to your door. The working class can claim unemployment benefits using the Internet. Schools across the country have shifted learning to the virtual classroom. Truly during the COVID-19 pandemic households are in need of access to the Internet. This article is a one-stop shop of where to find affordable Internet services, ironically located online. But it demonstrates the want and need for internet access in certain communities.
